The United Kingdom Accreditation Service is the sole national accreditation body recognised by government to assess, against internationally agreed standards, organisations that provide certification, testing, and inspection and calibration services. Accreditation by UKAS demonstrates the competence, impartiality and performance capability of these evaluators. UKAS is a non-profit-distributing company, limited by guarantee, and operates under a Memorandum of Understanding with the Government through the Secretary of State for Business, Innovation and Skills.

CLM Compliance achieved UKAS accreditation in March 2008 after a 2 year period of preparation and assessment for its Periodic Electrical test and Inspection and Portable Appliance testing services. This huge investment was made to demonstrate to our clients that we are dedicated to the ongoing improvement and development of our compliance services. Furthermore, CLM Compliance is the only business in the UK to have achieved UKAS accreditation for both of these key services. Moving forward, CLM Compliance is working on expanding our UKAS endorsement to cover gas inspection services.
